Welcome to Wellspring Coaching. I am truly excited to be starting this blog and am confident that this space will provide people with some insight into living a more balanced, peaceful life. We all know life’s journeys have ups and downs. Some people’s peaks or troughs are higher than others, but we all have them nonetheless. I’m not intending to sound clichéd but whatever experiences we have can teach us something about ourselves and the environment in which we live.
If we can understand ourselves and those environments in the perspective they should be seen, we can achieve a more fulfilled life, with gratitude, value, trust, balance, forgiveness and peace.
The world is changing at such a rapid rate. Technology is advancing, very quickly, on a daily basis. My father had commented sometime in the early 1990s, looking at his father’s generation and his children’s; he said the difference between his and his father’s generation was smaller than his and his children's. The difference between his children’s and grandchildren’s generation is even bigger. Until the mid 1990’s people couldn’t message you, pagers were not very common and people could usually only get hold of you if you were at home or the office. We are now accessible 24/7 with very little downtime. We now have to find alternative ways for some silence. Technology has shifted our balance to a more materialistic, noisy existence and we have to find time to reconnect with ourselves and others and find time for quiet. This is where Wellspring Coaching comes in. Wellspring provides wisdom, insight and tools to bring calm back to people’s lives – lifestyle, relationships, body, mind and spirit. Perspective is important to find the comfort and peace you are looking for to help you navigate your life’s journey and to contribute to your well-being and those around you. When we look at things we should reflect inwards and consider our attitudes towards ourselves. We should also look outwards. Often our response to external situations is a result of our internal state of being. I will elaborate on this further in my future posts. Thank you for taking the time to read and my wish is that this blog will provide you with the tools to achieve your life’s ideals.
